Interviewing for role at Accenture and wanted to know if they will meet my current salary. I have established salary history. Doing final situation interview and MD in-person interview. Also, role I applied was for Sr. Manager but they said that they will more than likely bring me in as Manager? Is this bait and switch or typical?
Manager is the squeeze title. They always try to bring people in at manager. That are experience and not give them Se Manager. You’ll be spinning ur wheels trying to get Sr Manager.
That sounds like bait and switch. Why not just advertise the role at Manager?
Push for Senior Manager. Experienced hires are often brought in for lower than their value so the company can get more margin off of them. Trying to move from manager to senior manager, even with outside experience will take many, many years. (3-5 years) and each year you’ll be missing out on senior manager level raises. They will do their best to meet or exceed your salary from your old company which is nice. They’ll do a true up to their current ranges of salary for your salary after your first performance review.
Came in as lvl 8 Azure engineer making 132k + allegedly a 20k end of year bonus. US citizen.
ACN pays awfully compared to the rest of the industry. They seem to think their brand has so much value.
Look it up on glass door. I think max TC would be near $200K for a manager.
Thanks but I've found Glassdoor to be all over the place.
