What is the salary or range and total comp at Accenture for a director or a CL5 position? This is apparently between senior Manager and managing director.
About $400k+ and no life.
Why? I thought Accenture was a chill company.
Define chill? Similar sized company as Amazon - about 300k employees globally. Lots of regular enterprise red tape. If you get up to a Director level at Accenture, you have lived the "consultants life" for awhile. At that level, you might be used to ensuring every part of your day is billable, balancing home life and travel to clients sites. So in that regard if you make Director or above at Accenture it might be pretty "chill" compared to other roles at ACN. Perfect job if you are single and love to travel and network with folks. Not so much if you have a family, tired of traveling and would rather dev away from people in a dark, cold room with headphones on. Source: worked at Accenture for 8 years before joining AWS
Thanks I haven't worked in consulting before So this is going to be a new experience How does Accenture break down salaries? So they give RSUs every year ? Is bonus a big portion of that 400k you mentioned? Thinking of applying to Accenture as the possible next move to get some varied experience
I turned down several Accenture offers because I worked closely with many from the company including partners. My morals and ethics got in the way after seeing their almost criminal behavior. I wouldn't have been able to sleep at night working for them. But there are plenty that do.
