Hi fellow blinders! Quick question, I have two career options to chose from, but not sure how titles between the two align. Pay variance is negligible. 1- Accenture, Sr. Manager - Sales (Deal Capture) 2-Cognizant, Director - Client Relations (Farming) Does anyone have an idea on how Sr. Mgr. at Accenture co-relate to Dir. at Cognizant? OTE - 320k
1. SM at Accenture pays more than D at Cognizant. The title premium at Cognizant says it all - that Accenture has more room for growth. 2. As D at Cognizant, you will be expected sooner to be able to lead selling. Ask yourself can you really lead the team and cut the sale? 3. Accenture definitely has a better, stronger client base, a better brand than Cognizant in general. This echos back to 1.
Thank you for this insight!! In that case, I should be negotiating more for SM because it’s paying pretty much same as D at CTS!

Seriously, which one pays more?
Accenture by very small margin. So pay isn’t a deciding factor here. Want to mainly get insight into industry standard vs these titles and also better company culture.
