So I did onsites and the recruiter said I had really strong feedback but the team is torn between me and another candidate. They scheduled a follow up interview for me with the head of the entire organization. Is this common practice? How does a hiring decision for a mid-senior role make it to the leader of an org (L4/5-scoped role being interviewed by a highly visible, well known exec level leader)? Is it possible they are considering hiring both candidates? This seems highly unusual, but maybe this is standard business for Facebook?
There’s no torn between 2 it’s b.s
What’s it cover for?
Yes, that's BS. We just hire everyone into a general pool as long as you pass the interview. We have headcount for hundreds of folks
