Addressing the perception that Microsoft isn’t as good as FAANG

After scrolling though this app for a bit you get to sense the general perception about Microsoft being that it’s easier to get into compared to other big tech & also that the work is light compared to these. I have been at Microsoft for 15 years now. I can confirm that this is BS. Microsoft is the father of all companies, if you can succeed at Microsoft you can prolly work for any of FAANG in your sleep. The kind of challenging problems you solve at Microsoft no way compare to what you solve outside. Also when it comes to what you’re offering it’s a shameful story for FAANG. Facebook: Make people social media addicts, adding 0 value to society. Apple: produced good iPhones, 0 value now. Amazon: this one I agree adds value but y’all heard about the wlb ain’t it Netflix: they used to call it the idiot box, now they call it Netflix Google: overrated company that basically earns money by stealing your data The new garbage coming in the form of TikTok etc. no reason to even address the obvious. Microsoft: Productivity enhancing software that enhances, saves & defines people’s lives. Couldn’t have been prouder!
