Hi! I got an Adobe offer for a engineering position. As usual, part of the compensation is a sign on bonus. They told me I don’t need to worry about having a lower salary from the second year onwards, because generally the employees get salary hikes every year. They said it is usually 10+% every year. Do we have anyone from Adobe (current/former employee) who could speak about it? I just don’t want to see a TC of, for example, 400k go to 365k from the second year onwards. Sign on bonus: 35K
Then it is pretty normal to get a second year salary lower then the first one, apparently.
They’re lying about the hike lol
Yep!! I felt it was too good to be true. But i wouldn’t expect them to be lying. 😩
TC breakdown
Base: 180k Bônus: 15% RSU: 282k Sign: 35k
The 10% yearly hikes are bullshit. Expect 3-4%
I'm on a process for Data Engineer for Adobe. I'm really interested in getting my GC (2nd year H1B now) . How is the GC process at Adobe? Current TC 130k
I’m sorry. No idea. I haven’t applied for a GC at Adobe
This is for l4 or l5?
4
Yoe?
11
Offer seems low for 11 yoe
Thanks… I’m renegotiating
10+% who told?
Recruiter
3-4 % max
For l4 and 11 yrs exp you can definitely push for more base, base can go up to 220k.
Thanks! I’m in negotiation
4-5 is avg hike and it also depends on the company performance.
