Does anybody have experience with Adobe employee stock options? Is it a good time to lock in the rate or rather stay away?
Always do it because you can sell it the day after it’s purchased and it’s unlikely to shift below your purchase price in one day.
Max it out, you have at least 15% return over 6 months.
Always a good time, no brainer
ESPP is nearly always a good deal. Sad that Amazon doesn't offer one.
Sell immediately after the allocation and guarantee 15% profit in 6 months
Adobe ESPP purchase price = min ( stock price on lock-in date, stock price on purchase date) * .85 So practically minimum 15% profit in just 6 months, if you sell next day. Lock in is for 2 years so I have seen profit from 17% to 150%. Whoever is saying to stay away, they don't understand Adobe ESPP or trolling.
What would be the tax implications? 30% of the shares amount(shares would be deducted) + 15% on short term profit? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Tax rates are different in different countries. I think you are asking for India. 30% on the discount on vesting ( share deduction). 30% on short term profit. 15% is for Indian listed stocks only.
