The same company who advertises their products as enabling remote work forcing onsite work for roles they don’t need to be onsite 🧑🍳🤌💋 u go girl Check out this job at Adobe: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/3751157658
Adobe middle management is all indian. No way they will allow remote
No wonder the company is tanking and has had absolutely zero innovation the last decade.
It wont tank cause sticky software. Also acquisitions are helping a bit
We should all “tank” like Adobe. They never did have innovation but their GTM is superior
Huh? Adobe innovates, albeit I don’t understand their current strategy — but they’re the only company that has a software out there with built in image tracing to convert png/jpg to vector files (svg). Then their photoshop image generation feature with text input is helpful. Also their magic wand tool in photoshop is best in class. Meta’s innovation is less impressive to me lately. Zuck going hardcore on the metaverse and not doing much with your other products. isn’t something that resonates with me personally. Just copying features from snap, tiktok, and whatever other newcomer social media comes along then funneling that money from your cash cows into the ugly AR apps that investors aren’t sold on
I’ve worked at both. Meta today is cashing in on innovation from 10 years ago but did innovate. Adobe bought everything you think is cool. Internal culture devalues innovation in favor of PM/Marketing but it works well.
Your analogy is incorrect. By your logic, hiring managers at gun manufacturers must go on a shooting rampage routinely.
What? My thought process is Adobe publishes ads all the time about how you can use their products anywhere but then don’t let their own workers work remote — even if the roles like this one absolutely can be done remote https://youtu.be/k9CjyJQH-ck?si=C08690UNn22V79wG
Zoom is worse
Apple too lol. Making commercials about wfh and being very anti wfh with their own workers.
