Yes, Adobe has been silently laying off during the last couple of years. 1000s impacted. Little to no severance. They target people with more unvested stock so it's more profitable for them. They also secretly bar hiring managers from picking up from the layoff pool because they want the unvested stock back.

This is across Adobe. Cash cows are on the decline and this is Adobe's biggest problem.

99.9 percent of pip ends up in layoff.. No chance to survive pip in adobe.. 6 months of work will be asked to complete in 30 days and even if you complete, others will not approve / accept.. Adobe have a lot of erc folks to manage layoffs.. Pip means layout without severance.. Only way to survive pip temporarily is if any of team memebers resign during that time... Treatment will be soo bad for ppl on pip... If one is on pip, then he shoulf look out immediately and stop working on anything...

Be friends with boss and skip level as they are the ones making the lists. Those who are close friends with management are the last to be laid off.
