I’ve received offers from Apple and Adobe both Sr level data analytics/data science roles - Adobe: better title, and benefits - Apple: newer team, and possible opportunity for growth My concerns: I believe that to be motivated at what you do and want to keep performing, your immediate manager has be a good one. Also depends how the top-down management is. It’s hard to know what the team and managers would be like until you work with them. I’ve gotten burnt before at my previous company when a reorganization happened and my manager changed. Salary: both have similar pay structure: base + RSUs + Annual Bonus + Sign on bonus. Apple’s salary beats Adobe’s by about $30k. Also in the long run, I believe Apple’s sticks will be valued more than Adobe’s. Which company would you go for in this scenario?
Have the decency to put tc and look for suggestions. No ones gonna care without TC for those roles
Here you go Apple - $175k base - $25k sign on - $160k RSUs - 10% bonus - ~$260k (1st year) Adobe - $168k base - $22k sign on - $137k RSUs - 15% bonus - ~$250k TC (1st year)
