For folks with MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, Carnegie, CIT etc who works at Google, Meta, HFT, Is it difficult to get good job with good offers? Assuming Leetcode is not too difficult for them
Why leetcode is used as measure of talent? How is it relevant in era of chat gpt?
Background + YOE of quality work matters. If you are from MIT, but you don’t work hard and always get CME, you won’t be considered as a high talent.
There are jobs out there. But hiring plans are changing often. So move fast and be persistent.
Do people still care about college once you have work experience? I’ve never once thought about it when interviewing, nor when I interview others. If you’re under senior level, it’s difficult now. If you’re senior level, idk, it doesn’t feel too different.
MIT / Amazon. It has been pretty challenging to get interviews in the same pace of pre-layoffs.
The hard part is getting the interviews in the first place, so the difficulty is before the interview/ leetcode stage.
