Advice for New SWE
Moving from Cloud Support to full stack SWE at Spotify. Do you guys have any advice to help ramp up before start date? #swe #spotify

Crazy that I have applied over 10 times to Spotify for full stack roles that I have direct experience in the same stack as, and have never gotten an interview. How did you get in? I guess you should look into the tech stack. Java, React, TypeScript I think. Normally I would say don’t worry about prepping, but since you’re not coming from a dev background you might want to get comfortable coding.
Don't bother ramping up before start date but once you get there: start reading docs, asking questions, and looking at other people's code reviews to get a feel for how stuff is done
