I have one last trial round of H1B remaining this March which my current company will be applying for. However, I am stuck in a pretty dead end/toxic job that is making me loose it. I have stretched it until the threshold for way too long. My mental health/ physical health is gone down the drain. If my my application gets picked up then I stay within the same company for the rest of the year, which I don’t really want to. Given the market conditions, I have some interviews but no offers in hand. If I take a pay cut, I will be able to find something but most likely without the visa sponsorship. I kind of know the answer what I want to do. But what do you guys suggest? Looking for some perspective here. Your priory should be : 1) Mental health 2) H1b sponsorship 3) TC
Focus on your health. Apply for Canada or Australia as a backup. People are just too stuck up on living in the US.
Mental health isn't to be played with. Address the situation at current job, but if that's not possible leave of course.
