Affirm lowballing
Stay away from interviewing at Affirm at this point. The stock price is tanking with no clear direction. The company is low balling and offering way below the advertised compensation range which is borderline illegal. Staff and senior are at new grad pay range and at least at 100k lesser than offered a year ago. The hiring process has 5 rounds in on-site, repetitive questions and incompetent managers. #affirm #fintech #tpm #pm #swe

Yes, they are giving out grants like as though their stock is at $50 when it’s at $20. Same for existing employees. But market is bad so they can get away with it.

The hr team also monitors posts and will remove anything that makes the company look bad. People have asked about the culture before and posts are mysteriously removed. Very shady practices, hidden behind an image of “transparency” fwiw
