I’ve had to reach out multiple times on a number of issues with my current stay. Please note I paid $2000 for the month to stay here so it wasn’t like a cheap stay. I’ve had multiple issues 1. First host had to cancel last minute. Airbnb took forever to cancel and reimburse to allow me to book something last min on same day that no one could accept my late check in. I had to go to a hotel first night. 2. On second host, first 2 days where the shower/toilet/sink didn’t drain and back out water. I couldn’t use shower or toilet or sink. I had to go to public places to use it. 3. roach problems. Had to get an exterminator to come and spray the guesthouse. I had to vacate for a few hours. 4. A number of the amenities that were advertised don’t work. 5. 2nd time now, the shower toilet and sink don’t drain again. I can’t use any of these. I will have to use public restroom again to take care necessary things. The frustrating thing is I keep getting passed to different service ambassadors repeatedly and nothing gets resolved with Airbnb. I’m at a point now it’s giving me a lot of anxiety cuz I have been needing to access public places instead of having a safe roof in LA and there is a stay at home order here. I feel like kind of unsafe and Airbnb hasn’t done anything to ensure safety and less chaos with my stay. How can I escalate this? I feel like the way Airbnb’s lack of response and attention is causing a higher risk of covid exposure for me right now.
