How many culture interviews did you have? You need to have two, hard to tell from what you wrote whether you had only one and need another one, or you had two and had mixed results so you will get a third as a tie breaker

I had two and was then required to do a third because they "didn't get enough signal". I was baffled how there wasn't enough "signal" - I had already done two! I'm assuming someone said "No hire" for one of mine. Mine mostly asked inappropriate personal questions and I felt like I had shared way more personal info than is relevant to work culture, was very uncomfortable with the whole thing. I tried to push back, ask the recruiter if I could just provide a reference from last job or if they could tell me what area they didn't get signal, but they wouldn't budge. I almost quit the process at this point... Then when I was matching with teams they did yet another surprise interview with HR... My hiring manager was pretty upset when I told him and he told me he didn't put much weight on those. Glad I didn't quit but personally, I think the "core values" interviews are terrible. Would be very curious to hear from someone who likes them and what value they think they provide. In my performance reviews since joining, I've spiked in core values. I doubt the interview performance correlated much with actual values exhibited at work.
It’s been years but I didn’t mind them. They were basically “make sure you’re not an asshole” interviews. Sounds like yours were more invasive though.

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
They do cross functional for everyone, usually 2 iirc. They’re important, any cross functional interviewer can tank you. Usually they’re part of the on-site, but maybe it’s different now with remote and stuff.
