Hi, I recently interviewed with dozens of companies and got some offers. I’m considering choose between these three. 1. Airbnb L5 (225 + 680 + 50) 20% Yearly bonus Project is not very interesting but can change team after a year. Dream company. Good refresh. 2. Linkedin Staff (240 + 750 + 70) 15% Yearly bonus. One of the fastest org, can learn something new. Best WLB among all offers. Refresh not very good. 3. Low-key recent IPO company (200 + 1m + 20) Potentially will have a great impact. Promising future, but most people have never heard the name, also WLB is not very good due to fast growth. No refresh. Current TC: 380k YOE : 5.5, ICT4 If I want to be a tech lead and not become a manager in the future, which one should I choose? Any suggestion?
Low key recent startup will give you that exposure for your future goals
Will it be a problem if other recruiter does not know about the company so it will be hard for me to change my job in the future?
I do not think so. It is a gamble but I feel you may get opportunities there which will not be present at LI or airbnb.
I would stay and get apple to match. Why is airbnb dream company? Li heard horror stories
Squarespace?
Flip a coin A or L …. AirBnB would be more rewarding imho but LinkedIn is stable and potentially forever
Agree. I also got an offer from google but got down-leveled 😿 otherwise I will be more struggling
Curious LinkedIn vs Airbnb which one is more prestigious or carrying more weights on resume?
Are you SWE, designer, or PM?
How was your LinkedIn onsite experience?
Tooooo long… I only have 30 mins for lunch… super tired at the end🥴🥴🥴 kept talking the entire day
I see. How were the coding rounds?
DM me if you have questions about Airbnb. Our refresh is pretty good, so long term your pay *could* be more than LI staff
