Why are the 3 airlines that went bankrupt in the last recession the ones tagged in every damn Blind airline related post? Not to mention only one of those airlines has a higher market cap than LUV, it's cool...we like being treated like the underdog π
Running a disciplined, resilient business is so passe. Borrow like there's no tomorrow (raise from SoftBank if you prefer to call yourself "tech"), individuals get paid, sink at every economic reckoning and expect to be bailed out... Now that... That's the in thing.

The stocks are impacted because fuel prices, which have increased, are a major expense. I doubt much has changed at these companies.
