Hello, I have an interview scheduled with akamai for Technical Support Engineer position and I would like to have your assistance on what can be asked and what I should be prepared for? Thank you in advance. #technicalsupport #tech
Tell me what happens when you visit https://www.shoes.com in a browser from a DNS, TCP, and HTTP perspective. Know the various DNS records and their purpose. Familiarize yourself with standard HTTP request and response headers and what they do. And also know the the difference between different http status codes.
Thank you. Do they also go over other networking concepts such as packet flow through OSI model, troubleshooting commands for Linux or windows?
You probably won't get packet flow type questions on an interview. Good to know that stuff, but our NOCC usually handles that. Knowing how to navigate around the terminal is definitely a good skill to have. Grep, awk, sed, etc.
