Comms is not an Alexa org. They do not roll up to TomT.
That's not the criteria lol. The real criteria is whether they build stuff for Alexa, and the answer is yes.
If it doesn't roll up to the SVP of Alexa, it is not an Alexa org even if the word Alexa appears in the name. Alexa Shopping is likewise not an Alexa org.
which org in amazon is decent then? It’s like all org in amazon is bad whenever I read something about amazon.
All orgs have bad teams and people (it is a subjective measure). The Blind population is a highly biased sample of the full population.
Exactly my thoughts! How can someone know about a team before moving in? I feel like the team will never say the management or the culture suck.
It's a good team. And has come a long way. Recommend!
In all honesty, it was the worst experience that I've had in my professional career. Huge push to produce for the sake of producing, new app versions were demanded every single day so LKG was not true LKG. I was lucky to work fewer than 12 hours a day. The director and VP combo I had were the combo had one of the worst attrition rates across Amazon. But you know, YMMV
LKG?
Last Known Good app version, which we had to keep in a separate space than the pipeline because it was just a new version for the sake of a new version every day
