I am preparing for an interview with the Alexa Voice Services team as a Security Architect. I was told there would be coding involved with the interview. Can anyone explain what coding for that role may look like with Amazon? I assumed there would be code review but not actually code writing on my part. Thanks for the help
I’ll do you one good, just run away. AVS is 🤮
Amazon’s coding bar is not that high nor is it that high for every security engineer position I’ve interviewed at except Uber. I’ve interviewed at over 7 companies (including Google and Meta). Know how to use regex. Know hashmap. Know arrays. Know sets. Know string manipulation. Leetcode easy to medium string, hash, array problems should suffice. You don’t need to know BFS, DP, or greedy algorithm or anything with complicated math.
