We're in a very extended expansion. Nobody can tell you when it will turn. You can allocate a percentage of your money defensively. That means different things to different people. Gold, realestate, cash, crypto etc. Stocks are overvalued but that doesn't mean they won't be bid up. Take profits, reallocate frequently. Interesting times, good luck.
