Hi, I am currently interviewing for a senior software engineer role at Allstate. Can anyone tell me how the interview process looks like and what I can expect to be asked during the process? The recruiter said second round is a HM interview, the rounds after that are live coding/sys design followed by behavioral. Am I expected to solve LC easy/medium here? But my friend who interviewed there a year ago said he had a different experience entirely and his recruiter had said the same thing to him. #tech Thank you! @Allstate
If you care about what you do I’d recommend looking elsewhere. There’s a massive micro-management culture and there’s red tape blocking you everywhere. CIO is clearly frustrated and is doing a re-org to shift to an “Outcome based delivery model.” I actually really like the CIO and whole heartedly believe in his ideas. Only problem is I don’t think any direct line managers see themselves or the processes that they’ve put in place as the problem. If coming over gets you paid and you’re looking for work life balance you’ll be happy. As you can probably tell the bueracracy has me a bit pissed off lol
all state is boring no career or pay growth
Have you worked there before? Or just heard that from other? It pays more than my current gig, so just wanted to try it out.
