Ally vs Bank of America for SDE
Have two offers on the table. Ally for 90k with 10k sign on and 5% yearly bonus as a Software Developer BOA for 120k with performance based annual bonus ( undisclosed %) As a AVP Software Engineer 2 Ally would probably be easier for growth but the money is kinda hard to ignore along with the better title. Bofa bonus will probably be closer to 1-5%. 5% if you really do good

From my experience you almost always get full Ally bonus unless you really mess up.

I’m also in CLT. I’ve heard horror stories about BOA, so I’d lean towards Ally. But TC
