People will not shutup on tiktok and YouTube about how they tripled their income in less than 1 year by working 3 jobs etc. I'm worried that it starts the wave of tech scrutiny such as RTO, layoffs, and pip. Will all of this impact tech or am I Overthinking
Long ago someone worked at same place as me and had a second job at a strip club. Her day job came to an end, but not sure if that’s because the other one paid more or because it impacted how much impact she had in day job. Also not sure if the fact that her manager was a female played any role in all that.
Agreed that those that are bragging about it on social media are idiots. First rule of OE is to never talk about OE
Why do you think RTO started - just because of this!!!
How does that matter ? If you can do 2 full time tech jobs, you're a goddamn genius. The workload is not little, so if people handle it, they deserve the salary.
Sure thing, but also there is nothing to brag about. There is enough skepticism about WFH and that could induce more scrutiny, nonsense micromanaging and ultimately make your workflow worse. Other thing is that usually those TikTokers are not the guys actually doing multi jobs but rather trying to use trendy theme and making exaggerated notion for general public.
yah, I watched some of those vids. All are PMs, data folks. Do they really have little work or they're just making vids for the sake of filming ?
