What is another career path that I can look into? Being a SDE is good but really takes a toll on my brain (too much dealing with teammates over trivial stuff, mediocre players) What is a good path to look into where having programming skills would be useful and I'd also get paid decently (maybe like 60 percent of an SDE)?
Data science? Seems like that requires both programming and communication skills.
You can be a contractor and just be a yes man? Put in your 8 hours and then switch your brain off.
Thanks for the replies but I was hoping for something less related to programming.
Urban farmer.
This requires academia but some scientific research requires programming, even though it is not the core of it.
