Am I a screwed due to job hopping?

Work history: 3 years - analyst 3 years - analyst 10 months - analyst 10 months - laid off first swe job 9 months - current job, layoffs announced. I would have stayed at the first swe job place or current job but cant since layoffs. Hopefully I won’t be looked as a job hopper, but curious of blinds opinion. TC: 105k

You'll be ok. Layoffs are not your fault.

Thanks! Thats good to hear. I was worried this economy was going to make companies look at me as a risk

If your job hops are pivoting titles/roles significantly it won't be counted against you as much. Timeline to infer from post is a bit confusing. If you're worried about layoffs in the now it's okay to start looking to figure out the best way to handle questions you'll get about it.

Last analyst job was for 10 months. Startup was 10 months (layoff) and now my current is about 9 months. Hope that clears it up and thanks !

Oh, so you had a long tenure (6 years) before the 10 months? You should be alright. A lot of people's job histories look a bit weird rn with great resignation and current layoffs. Just do your best to make the best of your current job and give the waters of interviewing a chance. Hopefully you'll be fine at your current job though.

You’re OK. You switched careers altogether, so that’s ok. And the reason you left your only SWE job was because of a layoff. You have not done anything that would be considered a job hop.

Thanks! That’s good

3 jobs in 2.5 years is job hopping af. You're not even making it through an annual review cycle at any of them. I'd assume you don't know what you're doing.

OP you really need to edit the post to make it more clear because you said you have 6YOE in the post
