Hello folks! I completed 6 months at my current company and almost worked more than 8 hours per day. I have a master's degree and hearing about good tech offers in the industry intrigued me to validate if I'm being paid well. Would love to hear your thoughts and please comment with any advice that you've as it would be helpful :) Total compensation $ 92k Role :Sales Operation Analyst- I (data & reporting analyst) YOE :~ 1 year (internship of 6 months at Bain & Company) Base Pay :$84K Annual Bonus : 10% Stock : $26k vesting over 4 year Location : Boston, MA Thank you for your time! #helpmeevaluate #help #tech #newgrad #salarycomparison #compensation
The biggest factor is your location. Where are you? Dont say seattle

Your total compensation numbers look wrong. It should be around 99K including stock vested. Also Location highly matters.
99k for one year of experience? What crack are you smoking? You kids that never worked in your life think you are entitled. Earn your pay! I am sick of the diluted workforce that can't do $h!t and make poor business decisions. Prove yourself and you will find that doors open for you. If they don't, open them for yourself!

You’re getting screwed royally. I was getting paid north of a million to do that kind of work
Thank you this helps me understand where I stand
…you guys are getting paid??
Nobody: …. Blinders: Group of anonymous internet strangers who know nothing about me — please tell me what to do / if I make enough money / if my company is cool!
How’s the WLB? If that’s good then I say you’re getting paid well. If no WLB, then you deserve north of 6 figs
There is a unlimited PTO but, doesn't help as you are always slammed with a lot of work load so I'd rate WLB as 2 on 5
You work with Tableau and tools like that right? Your TC is fine since you are just starting out but I recommend applying for other jobs after a while
Do you ever get bothered by the fact you're 8k away from six figures
Get 3 years at your first company. You are doing fantastic for compensation right now. It will take you 3 years before you have anything meaningful to speak to, then you can get a big bump in salary. If you aren't doing anything interesting after 2 years, start looking for opportunities within your company to start doing something interesting. The variety and scope of your experience in your first role will determine a lot of your value to the market. You're doing fine where you are. Save as much as you can.
Thank you so much :)
