What happens when most of your team is Indian?
I don’t know many other PMs and am not sure if I make a fair salary. I’m a senior product manager, 4YOE and make $125K base. Is this an average salary for a PM with my experience, or should I be looking to upgrade and find a company that pays me more?
It’s not bad considering your YOE. I was making that for a long time at crappy companies before seeking big tech.
How’d you make the move into big tech?
There are gateway companies - Walmart could be one! But most importantly, through a niche specialization, and having a strong network.
Depends on location if it’s cali or other big cities underpaid
In Pennsylvania (bordering philly but not exactly Philly)
I'm a L6 PM at a medium sized company. I work remotely and live in a MCOL city. I have 8 YoE (2 as a PM). My current base is $198K. My previous employer's base was $237K.
Tc vs base?
that's what we pay our LDP hires, but your salary is fine, most people on blind have peanut salaries so they'll usually only disclose their TC which includes RSUs that make up over half of their pay on paper im all cash 275k in the middle of nowhere, and nothing to spend it on
You're overpaid, as most PMs are.
Bro what lol
Those are just facts homie. PMs are mega useless
