Does the interviewer take note of my stories during the interview ? Or try to match the story with LP and note the respective LP? #amazon
Each interviewer has a set of LPs they are supposed to look for. Question bank from said LPs to ask you. We take notes on everything and input them into the system. If you dont exhibit the LPs we were looking for but hit on others with your stories, we note that as well.
would you say there is a set of LP that all interviewers look for. .. and some specific ones that are team/role specific you look for .. say deliver result, customer obsession , bias for action are general. . .
Short answer: no. FWIW, a good story exhibit multiple LPs.
I felt LP stories are BS sometimes. You need to cook up stories even if you haven’t been in a situation they ask you for
They are BS. But that’s what they want.
😂😂
Those who cook the best stories for LP, and can handle follow up questions, gets the job.
Solid way to get the best employees.
People think it is so easy to lie in the interviews but it is honestly extremely obvious. You say your regurgitated lie and it will fall apart the moment you are grilled. When I interviewed for them I was grilled extremely hard and very indepth in every story I told. I had 5 rounds and 3 hours total of those rounds were spent grilling me on my stories. Good luck lying for that long.
If you prepare well and did a mock, you definitely will. My own colleague who joined Amazon narrated how he lied. So he had very good luck. The point here is they want you to narrate stories from recent experience which might not be case. Also asking about a situation which you never faced.
I've passed Amazon twice --and both times every single story was made up
When I started spitting out my answers, the interviews were typing like mad, like their hands were on fire. So damn right they're taking notes

I did not spend even 15 mintues on preparing for LP and passed Amazon's interview. I guess I am just too good of a liar 😎

Too many questions on all of which I used 2 stories and somehow related it to the question
