Amazon - Software Sales
Anybody do software sales at AWS/Amazon? What is the general skill set required and WLB like? Also what is the base + commission rate? Please DM me. I am an SDE2 looking to potentially do a career switch. I have background in EE and ML. Other companies folks are welcome to answer as well.

In sales right now. If you don’t have SaaS sales experience you’ll struggle. If you’re not used to having a quota, you’ll struggle. I’d focus on ML and GenAI and moving more adjacent to sales to see if it’s the life you want.
If you have Ml background, switch to AI engineer role and get a significant bump in TC. I did something similar. DM me if you need pointers
