Recently got an offer from AWS Network and Core Team as SDE2. TC: 250K Location: Seattle. Any leads on what the work culture is in this team. How bad is PIP and any known hire to fire incidents. #Amazon #aws #lookingforinputs

I'm in AWS Networking. The culture here seems to be much better than what I hear about in other parts of Amazon. We're really looking for more headcount, so I sincerely doubt hire to fire scenarios. I've never heard of that outside of Blind, and I'm approaching my yellow badge (five years) in the org.

just curious why is the sde2 offer falls within the band range while all others posted on blind are in 350ish range? what is the determining factor?
350K for SDE2 is highly unlikely is what i feel especially in Seattle. In NY and Bay area it can me close to 300-330K
saw a few on blind. but yes location can be a factor

Heard that AWS network core teams have heavy ops work and less feature development…is it true ?

Normal interview process. OA followed by phone screen and then a loop. Major emphasis on LPs. Was able to come up with a working code for most of my rounds
