I just finished my onsite loop at Amazon for a Sr. UX Designer role and it went really great. My recruiter emailed me the next morning saying he wanted to follow up on a call on Monday (2 days from now). My application status for the role was changed to “no longer underconsideration” - does that mean i got rejected?
Not always. I got no longer under consideration after my phone screen but still went on the loop and got an offer.
Mine did the same thing like an hour after my loop and got the rejection 5 days later
I keep hearing it can go either way.
No, because if someone is offered, the status changes to offered
Rejection, sorry 😔
In my experience, If they would like to extend the offer they will mention the same. The moment they say they wanted to follow up in moet most scenarios it is always about rejection feedback. Wish it will be different in your case. Good luck.
Dang, oh well! Thanks everyone!
Wait to see what happens. Follow up phone call resulted in an offer for me. Good luck and let us know!
They cannot be that stupid that they change the applicants status to rejected before talking to them
They are.
I got the job just in case anyone’s wondering :)
Congrats!!
Nice!
Congratulations op, share the tc offered!
Sorry but its a rejection. The same happened to me. 😐
