Hi everyone! I have an interview for a Commercial Architect role on Amazon’s OPTICS team coming up and have some questions for the Amazon community. 1. Any insight into potential level/comp I should try for? 2. Any interview tips beyond studying leadership principles and finding relevant stories? Role is non-technical but do you think they’ll grill me on cloud technologies a bit? 3. Do they usually telegraph which leadership principle they are looking for during questions (ex. “tell me about a time you exhibited Ownership”) or is it more tricky? thank you so much!

Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
Do you mean Solutions Architect working on Commercial accounts No idea what the OPTICS team is. Care to explain?
Not solutions architect, it’s part of Global Verticals and Strategic Accounts. It’s a relatively non-technical client-facing role. Apparently the purpose of the role is to help some of AWS’s biggest enterprise clients to continually optimize cloud spend and track KPIs
Nobody here on Blind will be able to help you with that.
