All - Anyone has any insight on what lever would Sr. Finance Manager would be and what TC looks like? I just applied for couple positions in Arlington VA. Thank you in advance, greatly appreciated! #amazon #finance #money #salarycomparison #compensation #negotiation #tech #offer
Some are L6.5. Pay can be broad $180k-$250k
Sr manager, finance is L7. Most of the Sr finance manager is L6.5, showing L6 on phonetool though.
This is wrong. a Sr Finance manager is always an L7 at Amazon. Finance Mgr are always L6.5 (true it only shows L6 in the phone tool). The only exception to Job Titles are for Amazon subsidiaries that don't follow the same standard of Sr Mgr L7, Mgr L6.5, SFA L6, etc. Base/Cash Salary in Seattle for SFM range from $140-$160k (capped). And the rest comes in the form of RSUs. Depending on performance, the total compensation target is between $240k and $320k (also varies depending on Stock price when RSUs vest)
For what I know L7 in finance starts at $208k and goes to the low $300k range. This is for Sr manager, like, manager of managers in Seattle. I'm a PM that had interviewed for L7 finance before. Yes $208k is that low. No idea what VA would look like, but I'd assume is less.
First thanks for sharing this information. Do you know how this compensation structured (Base, Bonus, RSU, Signing Bonus) ?
Base is capped to 160k to all Amazon Seattle employees. No performance bonus is paid in cash, only in stocks. You get initial vesting in cash for the first 24 months then gradually your comp over $160k comes in stocks as the initial cash vesting fades out. It's not unusual to have like $140k base and the rest in stocks.
A bit confusing but Sr. Finance Managers are L7, Finance Managers are L6.5 (no Sr. in the title), Sr. Financial Analysts are L6.
Thank you guys for sharing this information. Anyone knows the structure of total compensation (Base, Bonus, RSU, signing Bonus)?
L7
