Asking for a friend, She has an Amazon internship offer for the summer and she’ll also be graduating in summer. So the question is, 1) What are the chances of Amazon offering her a Full-time position? 2) If they offer it, would it be immediate joining or they takes sometime? She’s not sure about whether to keep interviewing. I’d appreciate any suggestions. TC: 255k Yoe: 3.5 #newgrad #swe
Nah. Most interns are expected to return to school for another 6 months. Your friend should tell their recruiter
Due to same issue, Meta canceled her internship. For Amazon, she doesn’t have any recruiter assigned and no one told anything about returning to school. So I’m not sure about telling it to them.
Have her check her email from “ASP” it’s Amazon Student Program. But I just looked through some intern applications and they all say that students must return to school. So odds are, she can do the internship but won’t get an offer
Gotta come back to school for a least 1 quarter/ semester
I couldn’t find any such rule on job posting, portal or FAQs. Is it possible that this rule won’t be applicable for all positions?

Most interns get the return so long as they deliver something, amzn tends to be flexible with dates. It’s personal preference but i would def interview more because you know… amazon
Yeah, right. But it’s also tough for new grads to get interviews. So Amazon may be her best bet to get some experience and hop (to FANG etc.) after some time.
Getting an Amazon internship should open up some doors for new grad interviews, so def apply whilst interning
