Amazon Interview
I was recently interviewed at Amazon for SDE. I did well in technical & system design interview but bombed LP in few rounds. Does it really going to affect the result? Also, Amazon respond within 2 days if they are gonna extend the offer but it is almost 3 days since my interview. Is there still a chance?
LP’s are equally important. Sometimes LPs are more important than tech

Leadership principles. It's an Amazon thing. If you want a job here ever, learn them. If not, no need to worry about them. But they're useful
OP, can you please share the interview questions?
1) Given list of Driver with ratings. Find top 3 driver based on rating. - PriorityQueue 2) T-9 dictionary(same question from leetcode). Followup up with autocomplete. - Trie 3) No of connected Islands. Follow up with no of unique connected islands. Follow up with rotation islands - BFS/DFS (All 3 questions are available on leetcode)
What level was this for?
60% You are screwed. I did all coding & SD. But bombed some Lp from bar raiser. Recruiter said my coding skills are good but not a good fit for the team. I got offer from another team afterwards. But u never know. Gluck!
Am I screwed if I don't have real life stories for the LP questions?
You got to mold your experience to fit into these damn principles man. No way around it

It was for amazon last mile time. Not aws. Got rejection after 7-8 days
