Waiting for a verbal offer, but what would be a high end of L5 total comp in Seattle without the need of special approval? Thanks!
I guess 150k + 60k+ 90k
Wow, that's less than I expected considering the salaries I've seen bragged about on here.
Amazon is well known to pay a lot less
Depends on the team , I seen ppl got max 180k fir L5
180-220 range
I think this is probably the most likely for Seattle. Could be slightly higher (10-20k) if you have many years of experience.
Depends on what you are counting - total comp vs. base (which maxes around 160k) + RSUs that appreciate every year
Thank you everyone! This will be AWS, wonder if can go up to 230k
I recently got an offer for 250TC, but I'm L63 at Msft.
Also they said they had to get an exception for me. Anyway I declined the offer.
I turned down an offer at that level at 155 + 60 + 125k about a month ago.
Sde2 ? Whats your experience like? Didnt they try to negotiate?
They tried, but not hard enough. Largely due to work-life balance and vacation time.
176k base + 160k joining bonus/2 years and 300 stocks/4 years which is ~300k @ 1000.. but this is Bay Area. Seattle has max 160k cap on base, but you can get numbers this high..
Wow, that's real high for sign on and stocks...
For l5? Whats your experience like? Did you accept?
What is your current salary? Based on that negotiations for higher salary
What's a reasonable % raise to ask for?
Your future compensation should not depend on your current one!
It's disgusting when it does. I left senior management at a large company because I was unable to pay people what they're worth because it was too much of an increase. I don't care how low I hired you at, I need to pay you a "real worth" salary if I want to keep a good person.
I don't have your answer, but I know that number will be huge. Congrats on being L5 Rich
