Received an offer from Amazon for L5/Program manager II role in San Francisco. (Operations team) Compensation details: Base 120K 30K 1st year bonus 15K 2nd year bonus 35 RSUs (1/6/14/14) over 4 years Other info: 2 years experience in industry/role specific program management and 6 years program management experience in a different industry. Moving from a TVC/contractor role at Google. Any input on the offer, how much should I negotiate, etc., would be greatly appreciated.
L5 should be hitting 200K for Eng roles but not sure about PM
For PM's it's low but 120k for bay is tad low as base. They consider this as non eng role. So it's like L4 SDE.
Thanks so much for the feedback. Yah, this would be a non-tech PM role. Any thoughts on the RSUs and bonus components? I will be the first hire in this specific role within the operations team.
150 target for non tech L5 PM is a fair offer. Tech PM is at 175 and SDE is at 200.
Mind referring me
Did you tell your current comp to amzn recruiter ? You are being low balled for sure, base can go up for sure.
No, i didn't tell my current comp to the recruiter. My current annual comp as a contractor is about 130K.
