Blind really helped in my job search so giving back by sharing a reference point. L6 Sr. PM-T in HCOL area, consumer business. Base: 190k Year 1 bonus: 209k Year 2 bonus: 153k RSUs: 147 with standard 5%/15%/40%/40% vest At the time of my offer in March the stock was ~$3300 so TC was 423k. My previous TC was $226k at a small non-tech company so it was a big jump, particularly after getting rejected from other big techs after final rounds like Coinbase and Uber - likely dodged some bullets there. I had other offers from some startups and big non-techs, but none that came close to Amazon's TC and tech reputation. So far I'm very happy with my team and my boss, working on interesting stuff. 14 total YOE, 5.5 in product, rest is not very PM relevant. Based on blind, levels.fyi and my other companies interviews, I set a target of 400k TC for my next role and told the recruiter in early discussions. Those numbers they gave me were their first official offer, and I knew they did an exception for that, so given my situation above, I didn't negotiate further and just accepted. It met my reqs and felt it was a good offer for the level. #product #productmanager #amazon
Hi, what is your background? I am interested in PMT Amazon as well? Do you have technical background?
Have a bachelor and masters in engineering but not electrical or software so not very relevant. Experience in that engineering, manufacturing and supply chain before doing a mix of mfg and software product work. Had a fair bit of luck and connections to first get into product. For my YOE if I had more tech experience I think I could've pushed for L7 / principal but I didn't.
Hey OP - how long after the on-site did you hear back?
Pretty quick. They told me when my debrief was planned for, which was a few days after the on site, and I heard the outcome very quickly after.
Did you get a referral or apply blind?

Hi, Congratulations for your offer! Could you please help me prepare for Amazon L6 PM-T role?
I am also an L6 PM-T internal transfer getting paid $180k. Unbelievable! Is there any other company on planet paying its internal employees half of what external hires get on the same level? Good luck to OP, disgrace to Amazon!
This is common in the industry
What is that?
Hey OP, i am interviewing for sr product manager, tech at Amazon. Would you mind sharing about what the interview process looks like? What should i prepare for interview with hiring manager? Also, what does the technical interview look like? Thanks a lot!

Why no one cares about the lives lost in Gaza, Israel and busy in their own lives?
No I don't mind, I can tell you what I did at least. To be clear, are you prepping for a pm-t or tpm? I don't know much about tpm at Amazon (though I did have a tpm offer from meta a while back but wanted to stay in product).
Hello, I also sent you DM. Thanks so much!
