I have an offer from a mid size startup in singapore for a staff software engineer. Been trying to moce to Singapore for a while from India. I also cleared the Amazon L6 in chennai. Waiting on the numbers. Been very confused on which to choose. I think L6 amazon might be beneficial financially but unable to let go off the Singapore offer. What would you guys do? Your L6 offer will beat the Singapore offer even without considering PPP. Very few Tech jobs pay well in Singapore. And those are mostly big tech gigs. Amazon L6 offer would be at least 1.2 cr. Can go up to 1.6-1.7 cr. You can always reject this and contact Amazon hiring managers/ recruiters in London or Canada or any other country you want and move there. Amazon has so many open roles.
Amazon is a pip factory, culture is very different from PayPal. The money will ofcourse look good at L6, but only join if you are aggressive at work and can survive Amazon culture.
Looks like L6 blows the SG offer out of the water (even before considering PPP) Suggest to stall on the offer till you get more clarity on Amazon then do the math and decide

Do Amazon any day but the culture will give you a hit. Shopback is decent here but it's not spectacular. Plus I don't think they are offering you enough to be comfortable in SG. I'm shocked they aren't hitting at least 200 base for you.
@zendesk, I think I lost that privilege. I accepted the offer and EP process has started. Not sure if I can leverage this amazon offer to negotiate . It might look bad.
