Amazon L7 PMT to Google/Meta L7 PM
I joined Amazon as an L7 PMT 1 year ago. Because of personal reasons, I plan to switch to Google/Meta. Usually, I hear Meta and Google hire Amazon employee 1 level below their level at Amazon. Based on my work experience, I want to switch to L7 only at Meta/Google 1. Can L7+ at Google/Meta share what it takes to get hired externally at L7? Everyone told me external L7 hire at Amazon is highly unlikely but I had a fully inclined loop. Therefore, I want to know what it takes so that I can work towards it. 2. If anyone made this switch, please let me know if I can ping you

There is a lot of talent, roles have been levelled down to begin with it.. The expectations out of a L6/L7 PMT pre 2022 and 2024 are quite different is what I felt at Amazon, Walmart based on my interviews. There are more senior PM reqs with broader scope than before.
Funny I'm L7 at Meta and interviewing with Amazon and they are only offering me L6 roles
