Amazon MBA Opportunities
I've been offered a PMT internship for this coming summer. My MBA is part time and remote and thus I'd be leaving my FT position to join Amazon as an intern. Assuming I do well, what are the chances I could start full time immediately following the internship? Anyone ever been in a similar situation? I'm having a hard time getting into a PM role so I'm torn here but if I were able to start full-time immediately following, the decision would be much easier. #amazon #mba #internship #productmanagement
If you are a top tier MBA then the chances are pretty good. Otherwise 50% and it is not all in your control as well. So when if you didn't the intern experience won't hurt you and will be an asset.
So I totally see the risk to getting a return offer. My question though is, assuming I do, what are the chances I can start immediately rather than following my graduation as my MBA is online and part time...
Can anyone speak to the flexibility of return offer start dates, especially starting extremely early like I've noted? This is what is making or breaking my decision.
Take the internship, then apply for full-time PM roles right after

The return offer rate is like 50% or something like that (best guess), so it’s definitely not guaranteed to get a return offer after the internship. But it should look good on your resume either way
Yes, the risk of not getting a return offer is one I'd be willing to take but am more curious if they're flexible with the start date and would be willing to allow me to start immediately.
