Amazon NYC Office
Going to be joining Amazon soon and was wondering how the office in Hudson Yards is. Are there any cool perks like free snacks, game rooms (ping pong tables, pool tables, etc), cafeteria, nice workspaces? I know there’s jokes about the bananas but was curious how the office culture/amenities were.
No bananas in NYC. Most ppl are remote, no food and no snacks. Some games - like ping pong. Stay home, you will be there all by yourself. Source - used to to work in that office.

Source: I work in the HY office. There’s a cafe that has food/snacks that you pay for although baristas make free fancy coffee for you. There is a game room with ping pong but it’s not amazing. Workspaces are nice with standing desks, nice chairs and monitors. Some nice views depending on where you’re at. Bougie food hall just opened up next door.
The area is cool 😎 you get more perks by location rather than free stuff for sure. Not an amazonian but see a bunch around my building.
There's free Advil in the medicine cabinet. I take a couple each time.
