I have an offer from Amazon for a non-technical program manager position. I’ve received the offer given I was deemed a good fit for Amazon. I’ve entered into a “selection” team phase with the company, where I’d have an informal conversation with a hiring manager to match to their team (no final round interview loop required). 💥Hiring Managers - in this market where you have plenty of qualified external candidates going through the entire loop, how likely is it that you’ll take on a candidate in this selection team phase? Is that vehicle typically reserved for teams as a last resort, given the preference I’d imagine is for candidates to fully interview with as many of the direct team as possible? Given that, how long does this team selection phase typically take for non-technical program manager roles (e.g., completed in 1-2 weeks)?
What’s the offer like. ?
