Amazon PM L7 comp?
hello community! i have an offer from amazon for L7 Principle PM role. Can someone please tell me the breakdown of RSUs, Cash and Base pay? #amazon #compensation #pm #l7

I’m looking for what range people have gone in when they are offered a principal product manager position.
Base would be $160k, pretty much standard for AMZN. Rest of it depends on how many 🍌 you bring to the table.

Top of band for l7 IC pm at Amazon is 400k. Their equity is 5-15-40-40, max salary (for anyone/any band) is I believe either 155 or 160. Offer will be structured as salary + signing bonuses for year 1 and 2 to smooth out your target comp over 4 years.
Years 3 and 4 will show about a 8% TC drop from year 2 with their built in assumption of stock appreciation.
I don't think you would see the L7 upside like that except for SDM bay area. Explanation 3 posts above is right on.
I talked to a recruiter about an L7 technical product manager position in AWS, external services in February 2022. Recruiter said the TC range is 420K to 580K. In Seattle.
