Amazon Palo Alto teams EMR, Glue, Athena
How’s AWS EMR team in Palo Alto? I read some old posts from 2018, that said it was establishing back then. I’m looking for interesting work, avoid ops and bad on-call. Would also appreciate if someone can help me compare EMR, Glue and Athena. Which of these teams have relatively better team culture and WLB? Interested in L5 SDE position. Avoid Glue. Athena is pretty good (I have friends on it) and EMR is decent. Interesting work but high ops load.
