More money?
Isn’t it obvious? But is it best way to make more money?
Op, do you think Amazon is stupid? Isn't it obvious they have the data points to make a calculations.
To clear out space for the holiday inventory
This kinda make sense.
squeeze the juice some more away from black friday distractions reduce chances of crashes on black friday
They want to get people’s money before Black Friday. Very simple
This. There’s less competition. People have a limited credit limit. Amazons prime day in October potentially takes away sales from competitors in November.
Spaceballs II: the search for more money!
"Moichendising, Moichendising!"
They've gone plaid sir..
Why would you complain about more discounts?
It’s not obvious there are more discount on prime day. A lot of products jacked up their prices.
Did you not read about recent law suit on how Amazon paid sellers to inflate prices selling same stuff at other retailer? That will make amazon selling at low price. I am a prime member and most of my orders arrive minimum after 5 days even though they promise 2-3 days. I have started using Temu. It’s not bad
Toyota does more than one Toyotathon, why can’t Amazon do more than one Prime day? They’re just gimmicks anyway. 🤷
It's a practice run for all their systems before Black Friday. They have a month to fix whatever issues crop up.
Mainly to reduce demand *on* Black Friday and Cyber Monday because it’s becoming difficult to scale to handle those massive peaks.
