I got 3% raise this PCS and $39,000 worth of RSUs vesting 2024. I didn’t get new RSUs that vests beyond 2024 Where do I fit in? What are my options? #software #engineering Edit: TC: 2023: ~220k TC 2024: ~270k Manager wouldn’t say which HV

Options are contracts that gives you the right to buy or sell a financial product at an agreed upon price for a specific period of time. Amazon doesn’t give you options but RSUs

Raise is on base salary Target comp for 2023 was $250k but dropped to $220k with stock drop It did increase for 2024 from $240k to $270k

MS lags behind the the other FAANGs when it comes to RSU rewards. That's where the comp difference is, on base pay you guys are not that far behind iirc. MS only catches up for senior hires, like partner level I believe.

This much of raise is HV3 for L6. So i would say TT actual for OP as L5 but your mngr wont take the extra trouble fight TT for you.

$270k is HV2, not TT for L5. Amazon bases pay based on ratings, not current salary.
