Amazon SDE vs Manufacturing Data Scientist

I joined a large sized manufacturing firm (privately held) a few months back as a Data Scientist. Being one of three data scientists in the firm, I've been getting to work on a lot of interesting projects and the WLB has been great so far. It's a remote position and I can work from anywhere in the world. So, I'm currently working from a relatively LCOL area but plan to work from a couple of different countries later. I have an offer from Amazon to join as a new graduate SDE. I'll need to relocate to a HCOL area and won't have the flexibility to travel. I have a Master's degree and my research during my Master's was in Machine Learning so, I do have an affliction towards data science and I'm more comfortable being a data scientist than I am being an SDE. Before I got the Amazon offer, Data Scientist was the role I was looking to be at. However, should I give my current role up for Amazon in hope for a better career path ahead? Will the career growth/quality of life be better as an Amazon SDE vs being a data scientist at my current firm?
